SolarNexus Plus
Fixes and a cleaner look for SolarNexus, built for the Allterra Solar team. It only changes how SolarNexus looks in your own browser. Your data and everyone else's view stay exactly the same.
Install SolarNexus PlusSet up your device first (steps below), then tap Install. Updates arrive automatically after that.
Set up your device
Computer (Chrome or Edge)
- Add the Tampermonkey extension.
- Go to
chrome://extensions(Edge:edge://extensions), click Details under Tampermonkey, and turn on Allow User Scripts. On older browsers without that switch, turn on Developer mode instead. - Click Install SolarNexus Plus above, then Install in the Tampermonkey tab that opens.
- Reload SolarNexus.
Already using an earlier copy pasted into Tampermonkey? Delete or turn off the old one first so they don't double up.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Get the free Userscripts app from the App Store.
- Open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Userscripts, turn it on, and allow it on
allterrasolar.app.solarnexus.com. - Open this page in Safari, tap Install SolarNexus Plus, then tap the Userscripts icon in the address bar and choose Install.
Chrome on iPhone can't run extensions (an Apple rule), so use Safari for SolarNexus on iPhone.
Android
- Install Firefox and add the Tampermonkey add-on from Firefox's add-ons menu.
- Open this page in Firefox and tap Install SolarNexus Plus.
What you get
- Popups (notes, tasks, file previews) fit the screen on phones and when zoomed in.
- Click a PDF page to zoom in, drag to move around, click again to zoom out.
- Job photos as a thumbnail grid, with a full-screen viewer: arrow keys or swipe to browse, click to zoom.
- The page fills your screen instead of a fixed narrow column.
- Bigger buttons and checkboxes, full file names, a cleaner font and look.
- Optional dark mode.
Something look off?
Use the small switch in the bottom-right corner of SolarNexus. Classic puts back the original look in one click, and Light / Dark switches dark mode. Your choice is remembered.
